MK Dons Women produced an impressive home performance to hold league leaders Ipswich Town to a goalless draw at Weston Park.
Charlie Bill’s side proved more than a match for their Suffolk visitors and deservedly earned themselves a share of the spoils.
Ipswich had only failed to win three times prior to Sunday’s clash in Wootton but were frustrated by the Dons, who climb to 12th in the FAWPL Southern Premier Division and are now within three points of safety.
Next up for Bill’s Dons is a tough trip to Portsmouth on Sunday, though a victory could be enough to lift them out of the relegation zone due to their superior goal difference over Keynsham Town.
