Theo Corbeanu was named Plumbing and Gas Solutions MK Dons Player of the Month for January while his stunning strike against Portsmouth was voted as the MKFM Goal of the Month.
Corbeanu, on loan at MK Dons from Wolverhampton Wanderers, enjoyed a terrific debut month at Stadium MK, contributing to four wins in his five appearances in January.
Playing a key role in Scott Twine’s winner against Wycombe Wanderers, Corbeanu also found the net himself in the 2-1 victory over Portsmouth – a sublime long-range effort which was voted the standout goal in January.
He becomes the second player to win a monthly double this season along Scott Twine, who did so in September and November.
