Ronnie Sandford, Edward ‘Junior’ Gyamfi and Brooklyn Ilunga were all named in the starting XI for their respective clubs.

Ronnie Sandford alongside Hertford Town fell short to Didcot Town in the dying stages of the match. Another penalty given away prevented Sandford’s clean sheet, followed by a late winner in the 91 minute.

With ten men on the field the Blues sustained Didcot’s relentless attacks until their injury time heartbreak. Hertford now sit 14 in the league table and will look to bounce-back against Harlow Town this Saturday.

Junior was named in Bedford Town’s starting line-up following his ‘Man of the Match’ performance the week prior. Gyamfi supported the Eagles in their 2-2 draw against Tamworth.

Bedford currently place 17 in the Southern Central League Premier Division and look to ascend the table with the young Don’s help.

Hemel Hempstead fell short to Concord Rangers in a National League South fixture. Brooklyn Ilunga was named in the starting XI and featured for a full 90-minute match.

The Tudors, as well as their number 11 have an opportunity to bounce-back swiftly as they host Bath City tonight.

Although Ilunga faced Concord Rangers, Jack Davies wasn’t named in the squad to battle against his fellow MK Dons teammate. This is due to an injury that Davies picked up in his previous game for the Beach Boys.

MK Dons Under-18s featured for John Bitting’s team in their Youth Alliance Cup tie against Portsmouth. Due to their work experience terms, they’re unable to compete in the FA Vase Trophy, which the Athletic took part in the previous weekend of fixtures.
