Thames Valley Police have asked MK Dons fans for their support in their Knife Crime campaign aimed at young people in Milton Keynes.
As part of the Knife Sentence Campaign, to coincide with December’s Month of Action Against Violence in Milton Keynes, TVP are asking young people in Milton Keynes to get creative and enter a competition by telling us about how they feel about knife crime.
To enter all you need to do is rap, sing, speak or write about knife crime and express your feelings against violence.
Winners will have the opportunity to be heard on Spotify, win a MK Dons match day experience and a chance to record their own music at a session with Thames Valley music group Readipop. Runners up will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
Readipop will judge the entries with winners and runners up chosen in three age categories:
11 – 15 years old
16 – 20 years old
21- 25 years old
How to enter
Entering is easy, just download one of the three beat backing tracks below and record your own rap or spoken word. Once you’ve finished your track, email it back to us at knifesentence@thamesvalley.police.uk along with your name and age. If you would prefer not to perform your track, you can also enter by sending us your written lyrics.
Closing date for entries is midnight, 7 January 2023
