MK Dons Women RTC player Amelie Timon has been invited to train with the Republic of Ireland Under-16s squad.
Timon only recently joined the RTC (Regional Talent Club) at MK Dons in July, her club prior to this move was Leicester City.
This coming weekend, the young player will travel to the FAI Headquarters in Dublin with a chance to gain international experience with the Under-16s squad.
Jon Dewick – Women & Girls’ Football Development Manage had this to say about Amelie Timon’s opportunity. “This is an incredible chance for Amelie, who has made fantastic progress since joining our RTC.
“It’s a brilliant occasion to gain more experience within an international team setting, huge credit to the player, as well as all the staff involved. All of the RTC staff are really proud of Amelie’s progress, and to have another player within our ranks experience international recognition is incredible.”
