MK Dons Women begin their 2022/2023 campaign…

19 August 2022

MK Dons Women begin their 2022/2023 season this weekend, as they travel to face Crawley Wasps in the opening fixture of the FA Women’s National League.

Charlie Bill and his team have worked hard during the off-season, they recruited seven new players for the team which they believe will improve the squad from last season.

The Dons look to improve their results going forward, after they placed ninth and narrowly missed out on relegation within their 2021/2022 campaign.

THE OPPONENTS
Crawley Wasps have been deemed a ‘tough opponent’ by Women’s Head-Coach Charlie Bill, the Wasps failed to draw a game last season which saw them claim 15 victories and 11 losses.

Crawley finished fifth in their previous campaign, cementing them withing the ‘top six’ bracket for the third consecutive season. Much like MK Dons, the home side will look to hit the ground running this weekend.
