The Dons were awarded with a LPF accolade, after a survey deemed Stadium MK the best away day experience for those with disabilities.
LPF conducted a survey asking supporters to rank their best away-day experience throughout the EFL and National League, the home of MK Dons earned the most votes.
Owain Davies, the Chief Executive of Level Playing Field attended the first home fixture of the season against Sheffield Wednesday, to bestow the award to Pete Winkelman, who was honoured to claim it.
A few supporters who participated in the survey shared some comments about their Stadium MK experience, here is what they had to say:
“My experience at MK Dons was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they went out of their way to help. No problem getting an audio commentary set, and I'm pretty sure (can’t remember for certain), that a steward came to me and checked everything was ok. All the stewards seem to be disabled aware and offered help as and when necessary. Great day out.” - Jo Pascoe
“The first time I attended Stadium MK was for a LPF meeting, after which we had a tour of the disabled facility, in which I can say its 100% brilliant.
