MK Dons Women are delighted to announce the signing of former Cambridge United forward Laura Mitchell for the 2022/23 campaign.
The 25-year-old winger, who can also play in midfield, has been training with the Club throughout pre-season, having a big impact by scoring four goals and assisting a further three.
She is no stranger to the surroundings of Stadium MK, either, having played at the home of MK Dons in the 2014 FA Youth Cup final between Everton and Liverpool.
Mitchell becomes the sixth signing of the summer, on the eve of the FA Women's National League campaign getting underway.
On signing for the Club, Mitchell said: "I am very excited to get the season started and experience the competitiveness of playing at a higher level.
"Since i've arrived at the Club there has been a great environment, with staff and player's consistently demonstrating high standards and professionalism. I am looking forward to helping the team out and contributing to big things over the course of the season."
MK Dons Women Head Coach Charlie Bill commented: "Laura is a fantastic signing for us, we have already seen the impact that she has made this pre-season, scoring four goals.
"She has excellent technical quality and is a player who is able to play off one and two touches, with quality throughout. She is also an excellent character who has fitted in with the group and our culture straight away."
