MK Dons Women triumphed 3-0 against Portsmouth, in their final away game…

3 April 2022

Charlie Bill’s Women expressed a strong performance in their fixture at Fratton Park, which resulted in a comfortable victory over Pompey.

A huge three points, which has helped reinforce the hopes to remain in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division next season. This victory means that the Dons Women climb up to ninth in the table, two points clear of the relegation zone.

Tally Miles scored the opener five minutes into the second-half, Pompey responded well but their efforts were unsuccessful. Nicole Pepper doubled the lead on the 70-minute mark, which filled the Dons with confidence for the remainder of the game.

Confidence which the players put to good use as Chez Albert finalised the scoring with ten minutes left, increasing the lead to three and ensuring a comfortable win for the Dons Women.

A final victory on the road for Bill’s team this season, they now look toward the remaining two home fixtures, which could be crucial in deciding their fate for next season.
