MK Dons travelled to the House of Commons this week where they were granted with the EFL Community Club of the Season Award for South East & East.
The EFL and the EFL Trust hosted an Awards event within the House of Commons to celebrate the incredible work that many EFL clubs have distributed throughout their communities.
MK Dons Sport and Education Trust showcased their impact through the 38 programmes they run, successfully having over 515 participants weekly and 52,000 people taking part annually.
During the COVID-19 pandemic ,the SET also volunteered 1769 hours to help support the community, helping people by delivering food packages to various homes and companies.
MK Dons were among the list of six other EFL clubs that received this award including, Plymouth Argyle, AFC Wimbledon, Blackpool, Middlesborough and Derby County.
All six clubs are now in contention for the national award, which will be announced at the EFL Awards on Sunday 24th April.
