Harry Darling has been nominated for March’s Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award.
Darling contributed to three goals in four appearances last month, including levellers against Rotherham United and Wigan Athletic as well as an assist for Mo Eisa’s finish in the 3-1 win over Cheltenham Town.
The centre-back also played his part defensively, during a month where the Dons only conceded three goals and kept a clean sheet away at Cambridge United.
Darling is shortlisted alongside Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday), Alfie May (Cheltenham Town) and Danny Mayor (Plymouth Argyle). The winner will be announced at 6am on Friday.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
