Saturday’s match-winner Ethan Robson was delighted to play his part in the success over Portsmouth.

The on-loan midfielder slotted home the decisive goal with just 18 minutes left to play against Pompey, earning MK Dons their third straight Stadium MK victory and lifting them into the top six of Sky Bet League One.

“Obviously delighted to get the goal and the three points,” Robson said in his post-match interview with iFollow MK Dons.

“Delighted to get off the mark and in front of the fans too, it’s brilliant. There is no better feeling than scoring and to do it today against a tough Portsmouth side is a great feeling - I’m over the moon.

“We had five or six chances that we could have put away. Their keeper made some great saves. When you’re in the right position and the right moment, you’ve got to put it away. Thankfully, I’ve done that.

“I just thought ‘make the run’. It was a great pass from Twiney and I managed to put it away.”

He added: “Over the moon with the three points – now we’ve got to go again. It’s a great afternoon for us but we can’t take it for granted. We’ve got to keep pushing on.

“Hopefully we can keep performing like we can. We’ve got another tough game next week but hopefully we can keep another three points there.”

Ethan Robson and MK Dons travel to Gillingham this weekend, looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to seven games.

Tickets, which must be purchased in advance from the Club, are priced from £20 adults, £16 seniors and £6 students/under-18s while travel is available from £18.
