Troy Parrott has been included in the Republic of Ireland squad for their upcoming international fixtures.
Parrott is one of 26 players selected by manager Stephen Kenny for a FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan and an international friendly against Qatar.
Ireland will travel to Baku to face Azerbaijan on Saturday 9 October before returning to Dublin to take on Qatar three days later at the Aviva Stadium.
Parrott, who will miss MK Dons’ Papa John’s Trophy tie with Wycombe Wanderers as a result of the call-up, will be looking to add to the seven international caps he already has to his name. He is due back at Stadium MK in time for the Sky Bet League One fixture with Shrewsbury Town.
