Troy Parrott and Republic of Ireland face Portugal tonight in the first of three FIFA 2022 World Cup Qualifiers over the next six days.
The MK Dons striker is included in Ireland’s 25-man squad for the matches with Portugal, Azerbaijan and Serbia – the first of which takes place this evening in Faro, kick-off 7.45pm.
Republic of Ireland were beaten in their opening two qualifiers back in March, losing 3-2 to Serbia before suffering a 1-0 loss at home to Luxembourg. Parrott played 88 minutes in the latter, and will be hoping to be involved again over the next week.
