Matt O’Riley recently sat down with iFollow MK Dons ahead of the Saturday’s Sky Bet League One game against Shrewsbury Town at Montgomery Waters Meadow.
The MK Dons midfielder stated how the squad now needs to refocus and look towards acquiring three points away at Shrewsbury, following their recent disappointment at Doncaster Rovers.
“We have to refocus and go on to the next one now,” the number seven said state. “Hopefully we can build on another run.
O’Riley and the squad will be looking to continue their strong early-season form by building up another run of games undefeated, after their most recent nine-game unbeaten streak came to an end at the Keepmoat Stadium.
“Unfortunately, it came to an end a bit too early. In my opinion I think that’s a game we shouldn’t be losing but we lost, and we just have to refocus now. We want to put it right earlier rather than later.”
MK Dons search for redemption sees them travel to the Montgomery Waters Meadow to face Shrewsbury Town, who are currently placed 23rd in League One.
When questioned about the upcoming game against the Shrews, O’Riley said: “They’re 23rd in the table, but that doesn’t mean much in this league. That was proved at Doncaster, where we didn’t get the result that we wanted’
“It’s definitely a game we have to be right up for!”
