Now fit again, Mo Eisa hopes to get back to doing what he does best - scoring goals!
Eisa, who moved to Stadium MK this summer from Peterborough United, found the net three times in August before an injury ruled him out for the almost the entirety of last month.
The striker returned to action as a substitute in the Sky Bet League One clash with Fleetwood Town before making his first start in last week’s Papa John’s Trophy victory over Wycombe Wanderers.
Fully fit and eager to get back on the pitch, Eisa now wants to pick up where he left off and, in turn, help MK Dons maintain their strong start to the 2021/22 season.
“I feel good,” Eisa said in an exclusive interview with iFollow MK Dons ahead of the international break last weekend.
“Coming back now, I feel really good. I got a good 60 minutes under my belt (against Wycombe). I’m just ready to get back and start scoring some goals again.
“It’s going to be a busy couple of months and, for me, I want to keep fit, keep scoring goals and help the team as much as possible.
“This team creates a lot of chances. We’ve got some great players and, as a striker, I want to be on the pitch because I know we’ll keep on scoring.
“I have a target in my head that I believe I can reach this season, so I want to score as much as I can.”
Mo Eisa and MK Dons return to action this weekend when they take on Shrewsbury Town at Montgomery Waters Meadow in their latest Sky Bet League One encounter.
Tickets are priced at £20 adults, £15 seniors/disabled/students/young adults and £8 juniors while under-12s go FREE.
