Liam Manning has been nominated for the September Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award while Scott Twine is one of four shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month honour.
In his first full month as Head Coach, Manning led MK Dons to 11 points from a possible 15, courtesy of three wins and two draws while his side were also one of division’s top scorers with 10 goals.
Twine, meanwhile, found the net four time in five appearances, including a stunning hat-trick in the 3-3 draw with Fleetwood Town. The MK Dons number nine also provided an assist for Ethan Robson’s winner against Portsmouth and played a key role in Max Watters’ goal against Gillingham.
Manning is nominated alongside Lee Johnson (Sunderland), Ryan Lowe (Plymouth Argyle) and Leam Richardson (Wigan Athletic) while Twine is up against Anthony Scully (Lincoln City), Cole Stockton (Morecambe) and Carl Winchester (Sunderland).
The winners will be announced at 6am on Friday.
