Troy Parrott has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their upcoming FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Portugal and Luxembourg.
Parrott, who has nine international appearances to his name, is one of 26 players who have been selected by manager Stephen Kenny ahead of the matches which take place between 11 and 14 November.
Ireland will, first, face Portugal at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday 11 November before flying to Luxembourg for their final FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifying fixture on Sunday 14 November.
As a result of his call-up, Parrott will miss MK Dons’ Sky Bet League One fixture with Cambridge United at Stadium MK.
