Troy Parrott came off the bench to earn his 10th international cap for Republic of Ireland in their FIFA World Cup Qualifier with Luxembourg.
Parrott, on loan at MK Dons from Tottenham Hotspur, replaced Spurs teammate Matt Doherty in the closing stages of Sunday night’s qualifier at the Stade de Luxembourg.
Ireland won the match 3-0 to secure third place in their qualifying group although they do miss out on a play-off spot and will not compete at next summer’s tournament.
Parrott has made 10 senior appearances for the Republic of Ireland and has scored two goals.
