Russell Martin has been nominated for February’s Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award.
Martin led the Dons to 11 points last month, thanks to victories over Rochdale, Hull City and Northampton Town as well as draws against play-off chasing Sunderland and Oxford United. The six matches also yielded an impressive 14 goals.
The Dons manager is nominated alongside Blackpool boss Neil Critchley, Darren Ferguson of Peterborough United and Burton Albion’s Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Winners will be announced on Friday,
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
