MK Dons’ Sky Bet League One fixture with Lincoln City, scheduled for this Friday, has been postponed.

As confirmed in a statement by the EFL on Tuesday, Lincoln advised the League that they could not fulfil Friday's fixture following recent positive Covid-19 tests and the subsequent requirement for their players and staff to self-isolate.

Their statement read: “Lincoln City’s Sky Bet League One fixture against MK Dons on Friday 2 April has been suspended.

“The Club informed the EFL that they would be unable to fulfil the fixture following a number of recent positive COVID-19 tests and the requirement for players and staff to self-isolate as per EFL and Government guidance in order to mitigate against the spread of further infection.

“The circumstances surrounding the postponement will now be subject of an EFL investigation in accordance with EFL Regulations.”

MK Dons will confirm a new date for the fixture in due course. Russell Martin’s men will now turn their attention to Monday’s Sky Bet League One encounter with Crewe Alexandra at Stadium MK.

iFollow Video Match Passes purchased for Friday's fixture will be valid for the re-arranged date. If you would prefer a refund, please contact ifollow@efl.com.
