An exciting new goalkeeper specific programme is being launched this summer by the MK Dons Sports and Education Trust.
Starting 29th July, the Goalkeeper Development Camp is targeting all aspiring goalkeepers between the ages of 8-16 looking to develop their technical skillset. The camp runs from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. The session will consist of 4 hours of coaching tailored to developing all elements of goalkeeping across the 5 weeks of training.
On the launch of the new goalkeeper programme, Head of goalkeeping at the MK Dons Sports and Education Trust, Ethan Wallbank said the following.
“Over the summer holidays there is always lots of opportunities for players to develop but we wanted to create an opportunity for the most specialised position of the football pitch, the goalkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for goalkeepers of all ages & abilities, whether introductory or experienced, the goalkeepers will receive a high level of coaching which will target and improve their technical ability.”
The dates for the camp are listed below:
Week 1 – 29th, 30th July
Week 2 – 5th, 6th August
Week 3 – 13th, 14th August
Week 4 – 20th, 21st August
Week 5 – 27th, 28th August
