Scott Fraser has been nominated for the Papa John’s Trophy Player of the Round award.
The midfielder ran the show as MK Dons beat Northampton Town to progress through to the quarter finals of the competition.
Fraser provided the assist for the Dons’ opener, minutes after setting up Joe Mason for a goal which was incorrectly ruled out for offside.
He created a number of openings for Russell Martin’s men to add to their lead, before Stephen Walker eventually added a second from the penalty spot late on.
Fraser is one of five players shortlisted for the award. The other nominees are Lewie Coyle (Hull City), Zack Elbouzedi (Lincoln City), Morgan Ferrier (Tranmere Rovers) and Jack Taylor (Peterborough United).
The winner will be decided by way of a fan vote. Voting closed at 5pm on Monday (18 January).
