Richard Keogh has joined Sky Bet Championship side Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee.
Keogh departs after only five months at Stadium MK, having joined the Dons on a free transfer back in August. The 34-year-old made 21 appearances during his time with the Club.
“It’s a tough loss for us because we're losing a very good player,” Martin said about the defender’s departure.
“He was really invested in what we were doing here but he weighed things up and made the decision to leave. I'm disappointed, but not with him on a personal level because I understand his desire to go and play at that level again.”
Martin added: “Letting someone go is not the be all and end all because that happens in football. We did get a good deal from it and the most important part is what we do next to replace him.”
The Club would like to thank Richard for his contribution during his time at Stadium MK and wish him every success in the future.
