Tali Jallow and Gambia have reached the semi-finals of the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, following a 3-0 win over Central African Republic on Friday night.
Goals from Wally Fofana, Modou Bojang and Alieu Barry secured victory for the Young Scorpions at the Stade Olympique in Mauritania. MK Dons scholar Jallow was an unused substitute.
It sets up a semi-final tie with Ghana, who Gambia beat in the group-stage to see themselves through to the knockout rounds. The tie will take place at the Stade Olympique on Monday evening, kick-off 4pm.
