Laurie Walker kept his third clean sheet in four games to help Aldershot Town maintain their unbeaten run in the National League.

Walker made his seventh straight start for the Shots, who beat Eastleigh 3-0 at the Silverlake Stadium to move five points clear of safety.

Jack Davies, meanwhile, played 82 minutes as Oxford City moved top of the National League South table with a 1-1 draw at home to Chippenham Town.

The MK Dons defender, who has now made seven appearances for the Hoops, played his part in earning them a point at Marsh Lane, while he also went close to a winner with a half-volley which bounced wide.

Elsewhere, Lewis Johnson was an unused substitute for Banbury United in their 3-1 win over Coalville Town while Jay Bird wasn’t involved for Wealdstone as they lost 1-0 to FC Halifax Town.
