Laurie Walker helped Aldershot Town reach the fourth round of the FA Trophy on Saturday while Lewis Johnson was also involved in a win with Banbury United.
Walker, in his eighth appearance for the Shots, made some important saves throughout the tie, including a great 67-minute stop which kept his side in front, after they had fought back from a goal down to lead 2-1 – a scoreline they maintained to reach the Last 32.
Johnson, meanwhile, was handed his first league start by Banbury for their trip to Biggleswade Town.
The young MK Dons forward played 79 minutes for the Puritans, who secured a 2-0 victory which maintains their two-point gap over Coalville Town at the top of the Southern League Premier Division table.
Elsewhere, Jay Bird was a 42nd-minute substitute for Wealdstone in their FA Trophy defeat to Needham Market. Bird, making his ninth appearance for the Stones, went close to finding the net with a header.
