MK Dons Under-18s were beaten 4-0 by Southend United in their latest EFL Youth Alliance fixture.
A brace from Sam Ratcliff had the Shrimpers two goals to the good at half-time before two penalties, converted by Tayo Adedoja and Jaden Crowhurst, sealed a convincing away success, against a youthful MK Dons side missing several key players.
The Dons, who beat Luton Town on the opening day of the season, make their first away trip next weekend to take on AFC Wimbledon.
