MK Dons Women were beaten 5-1 by Oxford United in their latest FAWNL Southern Premier Division clash.
The Dons fell behind through Beth Lumsden’s early finish before Daisy McLachlan and Lauren Haynes added two more inside the opening seven minutes.
After Lumsden scored a stunning second just two minutes into the second half, Charlie Bill’s side pulled a goal back through substitute Amy McLean.
However, the U’s re-established their four-goal advantage with just over 20 minutes to play as Carly Johns converted a penalty for the home side.
MK Dons will look to pick themselves up this Sunday afternoon when they take on Hounslow at Stadium MK.
