Jack Davies made his Oxford City debut as they shared the spoils with Braintree Town in their opening game of the season.
Davies lined up on the right side of a back three and played 75-minutes, before being replaced by George Harmon.
Oxford City are next in action on Saturday afternoon against Concord Rangers.
