7 August 2021

MK Dons Women are delighted to announce the signing of 19-year-old goalkeeper Amy Martin.

Martin, a product of Watford Football Club, becomes the second player to join MK Dons from Tottenham Hotspur, following the arrival of defender Sofia Stovold.

On the signing of Martin, Head Coach Charlie Bill said: "We are really pleased to bring Amy to the Club. It demonstrates another positive step in the right direction for us to be able to attract a young talent like Amy.

"She comes in with a lot of experience for someone of such a young age and has really impressed since being involved with the group.

"Amy has worked really hard with Ethan, our goalkeeping coach, to develop certain aspects of her game to play the MK Dons way. With the development she has already made in a short space of time, we are looking forward to seeing her grow at this football club."

On signing for the club, Martin said: "I’m really excited to be joining the Club. The club has a great vision for the future which I’m keen to be a part of and I can’t wait to get started.

"It’s a great group of players here who have made me feel very welcome from the moment I’ve started here."

Amy Martin will be sponsored by Richard & Sandra Johnson for the 2021/22 season.
