Goalkeeper becomes second signing for Charlie Bill...

9 September 2020

MK Dons Women are delighted to announce the signing of former Millwall Lionesses goalkeeper Chloe Sansom.

Starting her career at Reading Football club, Sansom spent 4 years with the Berkshire club before moving to Brighton in 2017. The 23 year old signs for the Dons for the 2020/21 season.

On signing for the Dons, Sansom had the following to say:
"I am absolutely delighted to sign for MK Dons. It is a very professional set up with a clear vision and a club with an exciting future ahead. After having a season out it feels the right place to be to kick start my career again. After having the first conversation with Charlie, I could only say positive things about the clubs aims and aspirations. I’m looking forward to the season, it will be a tough season with the quality of teams in our league but with our squad I hope for big things to come!"

Charlie Bill on the capture of Dons new goalkeeper:
"When we heard Chloe was available we worked really hard to bring her into the squad. Chloe has lots of experience playing at a higher level and this can help support our younger players in our squad. She fits our philosophy and the culture we are trying to create at the club. She has all the attributes of a goal keeper that we are looking for to represent MK Dons. Chloe is another really exciting signing and a player we are looking forward to working with this season."
