Sorensen striving for successful season

8 September 2020

Having met his teammates on the morning of Saturday’s clash with Coventry City, Lasse Sorensen went on to put in a Man of the Match performance.

The Danish Midfielder looked energetic throughout the Carabao Cup clash and certainly displayed his eye for a pass. Sorensen boasted a 90% total pass competition with a 100% record from his six long passes.

The Stoke loanee has now set his sights on a successful season at Stadium MK as he hopes to help Russell Martin achieve his targets.

“I enjoyed my debut, I just signed Friday and played Saturday so I didn’t even meet the lads,” Sorensen told the local media ahead of tonight’s clash with Northampton Town. “They welcomed me and were very nice – I enjoyed the whole day – except the loss.”

“I think it’s harder because I didn’t know their names, but it was nice to be involved straight away. In the game, you start learning their names, as soon as you play you don’t really think about stuff like that.

“I think we can have a really good season, the way we played the other day, the playing style is really good. We’re only going to get better as it was the first game for a lot of people and I’m hopeful we can have a successful season. We’re all striving to make sure we have a season that we want.”
