Regan Poole has been named in the Wales Under-21s squad for their upcoming UEFA U21 EURO 2021 qualifying round match with Belgium.
The MK Dons defender is included in Paul Bodin’s 18-man squad for the game, which will take place in Leuven on Friday 9 October, 7pm.
The match will be Wales’ sixth game in the UEFA U21 EURO 2021 qualifying campaign. They currently sit in fourth place, four points behind group leaders Belgium.
As a result of his call-up, Poole is set to miss MK Dons’ Sky Bet League One fixture with Portsmouth on Saturday 10 October.
He becomes the second Dons player to receive international recognition in this round of fixtures, following on from Daniel Harvie’s inclusion in the Scotland Under-21s squad for their matches with Czech Republic (Friday 9 October) and San Marino (Tuesday 13 October).
