Dons Women snap up Stratton

Goalkeeper becomes signing number five...

17 September 2020

MK Dons Women are delighted to announce the signing of 18-year-old goalkeeper Libby Stratton.

Stratton, one of the most exciting young goalkeepers in the National League, joins the Club from Enfield Town Ladies and is a product of the EDSV academy.

She become Charlie Bill’s fifth new signing of the summer.

On joining MK Dons Women, Stratton has the following to say:
"I’m really excited to begin the season with MK Dons having already been a part of the preseason friendlies and training environment. The coaching staff and team have all been great, we have all been working incredibly hard to be ready for the first game of the season. I look forward to testing my skills in a higher division which hopefully brings a number of clean sheets for the club.”

Head Coach Charlie Bill said:
“Libby came in very early with us during pre-season. Straight away I was impressed with how confident she was at such a young age. She suited our philosophy and continued to impress us week on week. I know both myself & Ethan (goalkeeping coach) are looking forward to working with her and seeing her develop in a MK Dons kit.”
