Dons hopeful of welcoming back all Season Ticket holders when Government guidance allows

Andrew Cullen on welcoming back supporters back to Stadium MK...

Executive Director Andrew Cullen is hopeful MK Dons will be able to accommodate every Season Ticket holder, when supporters are allowed to return to Stadium MK.

Government restrictions currently prevent spectators from attending football matches but the hope is that these measures will be eased from the start of October, allowing a limited number of fans to return to grounds in a socially-distanced fashion.

And when that relaxation of constraints occurs, Cullen expects the Club to be able to welcome every Season Ticket holder back to Stadium MK.

“As things stand, 1 October is the date the Government have said fans can return to stadiums – albeit in little numbers,” Cullen said during his interview on the MKFM Breakfast show.

“We have done a lot of work on what that will look like, with proper social distancing in place and following the Government guidelines and protocols.

“We believe we can get roughly 7,000 supporters into the stadium and that, of course, means we should be able to accommodate every Season Ticket holder inside the stadium.

“There are challenges and difficulties but we’re working with a group of 16 supporters who have come up with some great suggestions. It’s very much on the horizon and it’s something we’re looking forward to.”

Until then, supporters will be able to watch MK Dons in action online courtesy of iFollow MK Dons, starting this Saturday when Russell Martin’s men take on Coventry City in Round One of the Carabao Cup.

Supporters will need to purchase a £10 Match Pass to watch this weekend’s meeting with the Sky Blues – click HERE to buy your Match Pass!

Season Ticket holders will be able to watch all home league matches that are played behind closed doors, free of charge, on iFollow MK Dons. The Club will be in touch with Season Ticket holders over the coming days with further details on how they can access the live stream for the Sky Bet League One encounter with Lincoln City on Saturday 19 September.
