MK Dons Women are delighted to announce the return of Hannah Barrett to the club for the 20/21 season.
The centre forward, who played a huge role in getting the Women’s team promoted, re-joins after three years away.
On returning to the club, Barrett had the following to say:
“I am buzzing to be back at the club. After 3 years out to have our little girl, I never thought making the decision to come back would be so easy. Charlie and Mark have been great. Their understanding and flexibility to allow this to work for me has made my signing unquestionable. To see how far the club has come within those years is amazing and to be given the chance to represent one of the clubs that has played the biggest part in my career again, is a massive honour. I can't wait to get the season started and see what it holds.”
Jack Sharp, Football Development Manager said:
“To be able to bring Hannah back to the club is huge for us, to bring in a striker or her ability and goal scoring record really excites us. Hannah will be the first to say she isn’t 100% match fit yet, but when she is we will have a fantastic player who knows where the goal is. We are really happy with the attacking options we now have at the club with each player bringing a uniqueness to the way we can play. We are now looking forward to getting the season underway on Sunday at Stadium MK”.
