Milton Keynes Dons welcomes the announcement from Government that spectator sports can resume with capacity limits and social distancing, when national restrictions in England end on 2 December.

The Government announced on Monday that they will introduce spectator capacity limits for sports stadia in tiers where these are permitted, allowing supporters to return to football grounds across the country for the first time since March.

At tier 1, these will be 50% capacity or 4,000 outdoors, whichever is lower. At tier 2, these will be 50% capacity or 2,000 outdoor, whichever is lower.

We are awaiting further information from Government and the EFL as to what this means for Milton Keynes and MK Dons and hope to provide an update for supporters in due course.

The Club has been working diligently to make the necessary arrangements to welcome fans back to Stadium MK in a Covid-secure manner, as soon as current Government guidelines allow.

We remain focused on our efforts to see Season Ticket holders return home and will continue our dialogue with the SGSA, local authorities, the EFL, the MKDSA and all our supporter working groups to ensure that plans are in place.
