Regan Poole has been named in the Wales Under-21s squad for their upcoming 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
Poole, who has captained Wales throughout the campaign, is one of 21 players selected for the final two qualifying matches.
Wales will play Moldova at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham on Friday 13 November before travelling to Braunschweig to face Germany the following Tuesday (17 November).
As a result of the call-up, Poole will miss the Papa John’s Trophy tie with Southampton Under-21s as well as the Sky Bet League One clash with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
He becomes the second MK Dons player to receive international recognition this window, along with fellow full-back Daniel Harvie (Scotland Under-21s).
