Loan Watch: Boateng’s Cambridge United fall to defeat

2 November 2020

Hiram Boateng played the full 90-minutes as Cambridge United were beaten 2-1 by Crawley Town on Saturday afternoon.

Joe Ironside gave Mark Bonner’s side the lead just three minutes into the tie, however, Max Watters’ goal just before the break levelled the scoring.

Tom Nichols then found the net on the hour mark to secure all three points for Crawley Town.

Cambridge United are next in action on Tuesday night against Salford.

Sam Nombe was not involved for Luton Town, while James Holmes was unable to play for Baldock Town due to their involvement in the FA Vase.
