Andrew Cullen has paid tribute to the MK Dons Season Ticket holders for their ‘phenomenal’ response to the compensation policy.
Following the Government’s decision to pause the return of supporters to stadiums, the Football Club provided Season Ticket holders with a number of options which would protect the value of a Season Ticket while matches take place behind closed doors.
To date, over 75% of Season Ticket holders that have responded have chosen to leave their money with the Club, and Executive Director Andrew Cullen is keen to make note of the outstanding gesture.
“Our Season Ticket holders have been absolutely phenomenal in respect of the refunds,” Cullen said during his feature in the Red Dot MK Dons Programme App.
“To date, an incredible 65% have chosen Option 1 which will see them leave all of their money with the Football Club for the remainder of the season. A further 10% have chosen Option 2 which is effectively the same thing but sees their payments capped at £230 to reflect the iFollow MK Dons to stream.
“To have 75% of our Season Ticket holder base leave their money with the Football Club – I cannot understate how much of a difference it is making to us in these times of uncertainty.
“That gesture is absolutely incredible and appreciated by us all, so I’d like to place on record, on behalf of everyone here at the Football Club, our gratitude for showing that support during these difficult times.”
Today is the deadline for Season Ticket holders to select their compensation options, to provide the Football Club with time to complete the administration of the changes.
