Poole feeling positive about Dons' future

Defender speaks to Tribal Football about his time at Stadium MK...

Regan Poole believes MK Dons are heading in the direct direction under boss Russell Martin – and is eager to play his part in aiding their ascent when football resumes.

The defender has featured 25 times since arriving at Stadium MK from Manchester United over 11 months ago, 12 of which have come following the appointment of Martin as manager.

Complimentary of the improvements that have been made under his new boss, Poole told Tribal Football during an exclusive interview that he is feeling optimistic about the club’s future.

“Things are definitely on the up,” Poole said in his interview with Tribal Football, which can be read here.

“The season hasn't gone quite as planned, but we are looking okay at the moment. Hopefully next season we can push on and try to get up the league.

“Everyone really gets on with the manager and has taken to how he wants to play football. Everyone is happy at the moment too and I think that's why we will have a better season next year.”

He added: “I want to try to play as high as I can and that's why I joined MK Dons. It's a club that wants to go in the right direction and that doesn't want to be in League One for long - they want to push on and go up the divisions.”
