MK Dons are looking to add two new members to their Grounds Maintenance Team.
The Club are recruiting a full-time Grounds Person as well as an Assistant Grounds Person on a fixed-term six-month contract.
Grounds Person

Position: Grounds Person
Department: Grounds Maintenance Team
Reporting to: Head Grounds Person and Assistant Head Grounds Person
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week, 5 out of 7 days
Job description
Overall objective: Maintenance of sports playing surfaces.
Main objectives:
- Maintain and prepare the sports playing surfaces and facilities, to the highest of possible standards achievable.
- Assist with the operations of the Grounds Maintenance department, in relation to departmental responsibilities.
- To accurately execute and comply with both verbal and written instruction given by line manager.
Person specification
Essential:
- Previous experience of working within the horticultural industry.
- Competently operate a range of sports turf machinery, such as: tractors, tractor attachments and ride on mowers.
- Be flexible to work in different locations and roles within the organization.
- Be able to carry out a physically demanding job role in all seasonal weather conditions and extremes.
- Hold a full driving license.
Desirable:
- Hold a qualification in horticulture/sports turf
Assistant Grounds Person
Position details
Position: Assistant Grounds Person
Department: Grounds Maintenance Team
Reporting to: Head Grounds Person
Contract: Fixed-term six-month contract
Hours: 12pm to 8pm

- Be motivated and organized to achieve the highest of possible standards attainable.
