U’s and Chairboys to battle it out for Championship promotion
Oxford United and Wycombe Wanderers booked their date in the League One Play-Off Final, which will take place at Wembley Stadium tonight.

Karl Robinson’s Oxford saw off Portsmouth in their semi final, defeating Pompey on penalties after a 2-2 aggregate score-line.

Wycombe, meanwhile, held Fleetwood Town to a 2-2 at Adams Park last week to secure a 6-3 aggregate success over the Cod Army.

Newly-promoted Swindon lose top scorer
Swindon Town will be without their top goalscorer, Eoin Doyle, next season after the striker opted to join League Two outfit Bolton Wanderers.

Doyle, whose 25 goals helped Swindon become League Two champions, rejected the offer of a new contract by the Robins before agreeing terms with the Trotters.

Pompey release five after play-off defeat
Portsmouth have released five players following the conclusion of their 2019/20 season, including striker Brett Pitman and defender Christian Burgess.

Burgess has turned down an extended deal to move to Belgian side Royal Union Saint-Gilloise while Pitman leaves having scored 41 goals in three seasons at Fratton Park.

Matt Casey, Oli Hawkins and Adam May are the other three players who also leaving.

Blackpool bag Burton’s Sarkic
Blackpool have signed midfielder Oliver Sarkic from League One rivals Burton Albion.

The Montenegro under-21 international Sarkic made 37 appearances for Burton last season, scoring five goals.

He is Blackpool's third signing ahead of the 2020/21 season following the arrivals of striker Keshi Anderson and defender Marvin Ekpiteta.

Trio commit future to Brewers
Midfielder Stephen Quinn, defender John Brayford and utility man Kieran Wallace have all signed new deals at Burton Albion.

The trio were all out of contract at the Pirelli Stadium but have agreed new contracts with the Brewers ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Cobblers keep hold of Harriman
Defender Michael Harriman has signed a new two-year deal at Northampton Town.

The 27-year-old joined as a free agent in September and helped the Cobblers win promotion to League One via the play-offs last term.

Baudry pens new Swindon deal
Swindon Town captain Mathieu Baudry has signed a two-year contract extension with the promoted club.

The former MK Dons man played 26 times as the Robins won the League Two title via average points per game.
