Championship trio join MK Dons in League One
Hull City, Charlton Athletic and Wigan Athletic complete the Sky Bet League One line-up for the 2020/21 season following their relegation from the second tier.

Wigan’s place in League One is subject to an appeal on their 12-point deduction for entering administration.

Sunderland starlet Mumba joins Norwich
Sunderland teenager Bali Mumba has joined Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.

The 18-year-old, who can play at right-back or in midfield, has been at League One side Sunderland since 2010 and has made 10 appearances.

Meanwhile, defender Tom Flanagan has signed a new two-year deal at the Stadium of Light.

The MK Dons academy graduate has made 50 league appearances in two seasons with the Black Cats after joining from Burton Albion.

Fleetwood keep hold of Whelan but release six
Midfielder Glenn Whelan has signed a new one-year contract with Fleetwood Town.

The Republic of Ireland international moved to Highbury in January and made 11 appearances as the Cod Army reached the Sky Bet League One play-offs.

Meanwhile, Kyle Dempsey, Gerard Garner, Matt Gilks, Conor McAleny, Dean Marney and James Cottam have been released by the Cod Army.

Swindon secure Jaiyesimi signing
Swindon Town have signed Diallang Jaiyesimi following his departure from Norwich City.

The attacking midfielder spent last season on loan with the Robins, scoring five goals in 23 appearances.

Imps add keeper Ross
Lincoln City have signed goalkeeper Ethan Ross from Colchester United.

The former Arsenal youth stopper made eight appearances in two seasons with the U’s.

Burton retain defender Daniel
Colin Daniel has signed a new one-year deal to remain at Burton Albion.

The 32-year-old has played 49 games since arriving in January 2019, including 31 this past season.

Oxford add Linfield winger but lose striker Mackie to retirement
Oxford United have signed Irish winger Joel Cooper for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old moves to the Kassam Stadium after scoring 13 goals and providing 17 assists last season for Linfield in the Irish Premiership.

Meanwhile, U’s striker Jamie Mackie has announced his retirement from football at the age of 34.

Mackie, who featured for MK Dons early in his career, scored seven goals in 84 league appearances for Oxford.

Pompey defender heads to Scotland
Portsmouth left-back Brandon Haunstrup has joined Kilmarnock after rejecting the offer a new contract to remain at Fratton Park.

The featured 19 times for Pompey last season as they were beaten on penalties in the Sky Bet League One promotion play-off semi-finals.

Blackpool sign two and keep hold of another
Blackpool have signed striker Jerry Yates and winger CJ Hamilton, while Ollie Turton has penned a new deal to remain at Bloomfield Road.

Yates arrives after a prolific campaign on loan at Swindon Town where he scored 13 goals in 31 league games, with Hamilton joining from Mansfield Town, following a season in which he scored three goals in 41 games for the Stags.

Turton commits to the Tangerines, looking to add to the 120 games he’s played for the Seasiders since joining from Crewe Alexandra in 2017.

Bristol Rovers bag pair
Bristol Rovers have signed winger Sam Nicholson and former Gillingham defender Max Ehmer.

Nicholson left Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids earlier this month while Ehmer saw his contract expire at Gillingham, after playing more than 200 league games during six years with the Gills.
