On this day in 2009, Stephen Gleeson signed a permanent deal with MK Dons.
The Irishman, who spent the second half of the 2008/09 season on loan at Stadium MK from Wolverhampton Wanderers, made his stay permanent on July 1st 2009.
Gleeson went on to total 206 appearances for the Dons, which ranks seventh all-time in the Club's history. He also scored one of the most iconic MK Dons goals - a stunning opener in the 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon in December 2012.
