Alex Gilbey is expected to return to action for MK Dons in Tuesday’s Sky Bet League One clash with Rochdale, manager Russell Martin revealed in his pre-match press conference.
Gilbey pulled out during the warm-up prior to the clash with Sunderland a fortnight ago but the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for December should be able to recover in time to face Dale at Stadium MK on Tuesday.
“He's fine,” Martin confirmed in his pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday’s match.
“[His withdrawal] was more of a precaution and about making sure he was okay. He’s come through the week fine and is in contention tomorrow, which is good news for us.”
