Striker eager for goals...

Carlton Morris made an immediate impact on MK Dons debut as the Norwich loanee netted a 75th-minute equaliser to earn a point at St Andrews.

Having replaced David Kasumu at the break, the striker adhered himself to the Dons faithful immediately with his performance and goal.

The 24-year-old turned home Sam Nombe’s cross to send the 897 travelling fans into pandemonium to ensure the Dons extended their Sky Bet League One unbeaten run to four.

“It’s an ideal start for anyone at a new club,” Morris told the media following the draw. “The most important thing was to come to a team who are doing well – we put on a show and got a good point.

“We’re a team that creates chances and we move the ball well.  We moved the ball well and wore them down – I think that’s how we will get our rewards in games.”

Morris also noted how pleased he was to see so many fans make the journey to St Andrews and added just how welcomed the squad has made him feel.

“It was fantastic to score at that end, and they turned out in great numbers today. It was a joy to see. I'm really happy with the goal, but really happy with the point at a difficult place to come.

“The team is one thing I love about the place – it's a really welcoming squad. I knew the manager previously, and a few of the players, but all the rest have been different class with me and made me feel at home straight away.”
