Russell Martin says anything could happen between now and the close of the January Transfer Window.
EFL clubs have until 11pm to complete their transfer business for the 2019/20 season, leaving Russell Martin and the Dons hours to add to their three arrivals, if they so wish to.
“It changes by the minute,” Martin said after Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Rochdale at Stadium MK.
“I don't know what will happen before Friday. We could end up with a new player, we could end up with two, we might not end up with anyone. We could lose one or two as well.
“We've had targets we've lost out on but we still have target and players of interest – we'll just have to see how it all pans out.
“I'm sure it's exciting for people watching, but it's not as exciting for me – it's hard work!”
