Regan Poole is pleased with MK Dons performances of late and insists that the Club are heading in the right direction under Russell Martin.
The Dons are now four unbeaten after their draw against Lincoln City on Tuesday night, with the point taking their tally to eight from a possible 12.
Poole noted how impressed he’s been with the difference Martin and his staff have had on the side and how his style of football is one he enjoys.
“The football we are playing is great at the moment, especially doing it away from home,” Poole told the media following the draw in Lincolnshire. “We’re building slowly and tonight is a great stepping stone for where we want to be.
“We've been working on us and how we want to play and it's showing. From where we were to where we are now showing a lot of improvement - it's the right way to play football.
“Our first aim was to get away from where we were. But the more we keep climbing the table the better, it’s stepping stones, and we still have improvements to make.”
Poole, who replaced Callum Brittain in the Starting XI, praised the unity in the Dons dressing room, while also applauding the impact those coming into the team have had.
"Everyone wants to play week-in, week-out and no-one wants to be sat on the bench - you need to be ready when you're called upon. The subs that came on made a big impact, and they have done in the last few weeks.
“We've got a great squad here, momentum is high, confidence is high, everyone is happy so we just have to keep going.
